the dream room is summertime naps in my childhood bedroom, the aloe plant in the kitchen window, my dad calling my name from the otherside of a camcorder. it is elvis on the car stereo, chocolate milk, christmas lights, and cds. it is an attempt to reach through time using ephemera, photography, journals, sounds, and, of course, dreams.
i am a poet from reno, nevada that started this project as a way to externalize my thoughts and share my poetry, most of which is centered around my father's death and the nostalgic daydreams that haunt me. i am interested in pre-2010s technology, cinema, sufjan stevens, and cowboys. to contact me, email kaitlincinnamon@gmail.com
